An unforgettable evening of unity, vision and global collaboration. Presented by His Excellency Mr Jacques Baril, Dean of the CARICOM Group, Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti in South Africa, and Chair of the Africa Rising Group, the forum brought together distinguished Caribbean and African leaders and business leaders committed to shaping a bold new future.

The gala dinner was deeply honoured by the presence of The Right Honourable Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica, whose leadership continues to inspire progress, partnership and purpose across regions.

The CARICOM Group represents the powerful convergence of Caribbean and African voices, forging stronger ties, unlocking new economic opportunities and charting a shared path toward prosperity and continental island cooperation.

The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) is a bloc of 20 nations, 15 member states and 5 associate members, founded under the Treaty of Chaguaramas. Its mission:

• Advance economic integration and cooperation
• Coordinate foreign policy among members
• Strengthen resilience for small island states
• Drive the Caribbean Single Market and Economy
• Tackle shared challenges, from economic shocks to natural disasters

The night was more than a gathering, it was a declaration of unity across oceans, cultures and histories.
