Ambassador Joanne Doornewaard of the Embassy of the Netherlands recently hosted an intimate event in honour of the Kaizer Chiefs, as the team prepares for a high-intensity pre-season training camp in the Netherlands.
The Kaizer Chiefs will conduct their 2025 pre-season programme in the Dutch town of Apeldoorn, located approximately 80 kilometres from Amsterdam. The team is scheduled to arrive on 4 July and depart on 19 July.
As part of the tour, Amakhosi will play five friendly matches against top-tier Dutch clubs from both the Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie. Four of the fixtures will be open to the public, while one match will take place behind closed doors.
