The Turkish Embassy in Pretoria hosted their National Day event on 31 October at the Ambassadors residence in Pretoria, marking 99 years of the Proclamation of Turkey. Amongst the 300 guests where Diplomats and distinguished guest’s. The Deputy minister of water and sanitation as well as the deputy minister of Social Development participated in the auspicious occasion.
The National anthems were performed by Turkish pianist Rüya Taner .
Performances included an Acapella group and Karabo Mahlala who played the Saxaphone and Ms Dane Issel sang a Turkish song.
An art exhibition gave a taste of Turkey and its culture to visitors.
