On 19th July 2024, the International Diplomatic Spouses Association (IDSA), in conjunction with sponsors Ambassador Duty Free, Embassy Direct, Spar Menlo Park, 67 Blankets, Rotary International Pretoria, and Aspen Pharmaceuticals, presented much-needed items to Lerato House in Pretoria. These included a Defy double-door fridge, an urn, a Defy cooker hood, a Samsung washing machine, as well as hand-knitted blankets, and both perishable and non-perishable goods.
Lerato House cares for young girls at risk and currently has eight girls in their care. The excited girls showed their appreciation by performing some beautiful songs.
