With a facility in Johannesburg, Armormax has a proven track record of quality and safety, having armoured over 1,700 vehicles without a single penetration or injury. - Please tell us a little bit about your business?
Armormax was formed as a partnership with a leading American luxury vehicle armourer almost 20 years ago. It is now wholly South African owned and has used the lessons learned in international best practice to provide the highest quality, bespoke armouring solution in the country.We blend the art of bespoke vehicle manufacturing and conversion with the science of the highest-tech ballistic materials. Our luxury bulletproof vehicles protect families, business professionals and high-profile individuals.Our Defence division produces and markets military-specific platforms that fulfil a multitude of operational roles. These vehicles are then armoured by Armormax using our proven lightweight technology using the highest grade of materials available globally.
Armormax Care is a complimentary inclusion for our customers or stand-alone service available to anyone. We conduct a threat and risk assessment on your environments and provide some basic skills to ensure your safety and security at all times.We enjoy the recognition and approval of most OEM brands and have developed a reputation for the highest level of quality and service in our industry. To date we have armoured more than 1700 luxury vehicles and have not had a single penetration or injury on any of our vehicles. Our facility is based in Northriding, Johannesburg, South Africa.

We understand the pressures placed on these individuals so we go to great effort to ensure transacting with us is as painless and professional as possible. - How has business been in 2024 and what is the forecast for the rest of the year?
We have fortunately been experiencing growth of roughly 20% per year for the last 5 years. Considering that 70% of the business we do each year is with the same or referred clients, this indicates massive growth for us in the luxury segment. The launch of the TAC-6 vehicle and Armormax Care this year will likely result in our last two quarters being busier than usual.
