The Embassy of Egypt to the Republic of South Africa hosted an Iftar dinner on 10 March 2025 at The House of Egypt, bringing together representatives and ambassadors from various countries.
The event aimed to foster camaraderie and unity during the holy month of Ramadan.
Ramadan is a time of friendship and reflection, and it serves as a reminder to support and care for those in need.
Among the distinguished guests were Dr Naledi Pandor, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mr Mohammed Dangor, who previously served as South Africa’s ambassador to Libya, Syria, and Saudi Arabia.
The Iftar dinner was attended by several ambassadors and diplomatic representatives, including those from Jordan, Iraq, Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Turkey, Syria, and Yemen.
