The diplomatic community gathered at the picturesque Irene Country Club for a warm and heartfelt farewell reception in honour of His Excellency Mr Antonis Mandritis, High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus to South Africa.
The occasion brought together members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the Cypriot community and friends of the High Commissioner, who gathered to celebrate his tenure and bid him farewell as he prepares to conclude his posting in South Africa.
Set against the tranquil surroundings of Irene Country Club, the reception provided an opportunity for guests to reflect on the relationships, friendships and diplomatic connections that have been strengthened during Mr Mandritis’s time in the country.
