Our latest Nedbank’s Heads of Mission lunch was held at the Official Peruvian Residence in Pretoria. Jorge Rubio hosted the Dean of the African Group, the ambassador from the Central African Republic, as well as the ambassadors from Gabon and Uganda and the Charge D’Affaires from Zambia. Other guests included representatives from Embassy Direct, Nedbank and The Safari Guys. The attendees were treated to Peruvian delights like aji de gallina, ceviche and pisco sour, amongst others. Peruvian cuisine, one unknown by many decades ago, has become one of the most popular gastronomies from Latin America, worldwide.
The opportunity served Peru to strengthen its ties with the African continent and to share interesting conversations amongst the guests present. Nedbank, as always, was able to interact with the diplomatic community and introduce its brand. For Embassy Direct such events enable us to serve the purpose for what it was created and further ties with the diplomatic and corporate community as a whole.
